Approaching Lines Surf Film Festival: Cinematic Surf Sessions Southwest

April 24-26  2014 – the first Annual Approaching Lines Festival presented by REEF hits the UK. We’re delighted to be partnering with our friends at creative collective Approaching Lines to bring  to the Southwest ‘The Cinematic Surf Sessions’ – a three-night extravaganza of surfing’s most hotly anticipated premieres, underground hits and award winning features.

Hosted at Newquay’s Lighthouse Cinema and the iconic Poly in Falmouth the Approaching Lines Festival is a celebration of the very best in UK and international surf filmmaking, bringing wave riding to the big screen in the Cornish heartlands.

“We’re stoked to be hosting this specially curated slice surf cinema here in the Southwest,” says Festival Director Chris Nelson. “We’ve been working with filmmakers across the globe to produce a hand picked selection of the year’s most exciting films, from eye-widening shred-flicks featuring the world’s most progressive surfers to documentaries and tales of adventure that will stoke the fires for the season ahead. I can’t wait to see them played out on the big screen surrounded by an amped and enthusiastic crew. The Approaching Lines Festival is all about good vibes, good rides and good times – if you bring your stoke, we’ll bring the movies!”
