Saturday Night Pass
Thanks to everyone who came to the gala opening night of the LS/FF – what a night! We were packed to the rafters with stoke and we’re turning up the stoke again tonight!
We have a handful of evening passes left for tonight: Saturday 17th October serving up 5 premieres for £21 which means more film for your buck PLUS a limited edition tote featuring the work of leading creative Ben Cook PLUS a complimentary award winning ale from our friends at Sharp’s! But be quick, because when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Saturday kicks off at 5.30 with the UK Premieres of Headache and Get Miles Away which celebrate the colder extremities of surfing. At 7pm XXL winning big wave surfer Chris Bertish is flying in to present his awesome biopic Ocean Driven and then at 9pm we have the UK Premiere of Albee Layer’s Attractive Distractions which Surfer Mag called one of the best films of the year (and if you don’t believe them, check out this great interview with Director Dan Norkuas over at Magicseaweed) PLUS the world premiere of Matungou showcasing some of the UK finest surfers the likes of Tom Butler, Stoksey and Angus Scotney – presented by a mighty crew of frothers and shredders travelling up from Cornwall PLUS the best short films including Oli Adams latest exploits and Winter Glow showcasing Ireland’s finest.
Saturday nights should definitely look like this!
